A triple-decker BLT in Auckland, New Zealand. P.S. "Bacon" is not the same around the world. The southern hemisphere countries we've visited tend to use the term 'bacon' for fatty thick slices of grilled ham.

The mixed meat dinner at Stone grill in Rotorua, New Zealand. Patrons are provided raw meat of their choice on a scalding hot seasoned stone on which to cook their own dinner to their liking. Interesting!

The Kiwis LOVE their ice cream. We stopped into an ice cream parlour in Picton where we got off the InterIslander ferry and saw this... We'd encounter Hokey Pokey ice cream many more times on this trip.

Our amazing lunch at the Bay House Cafe. John's lamb was served with roasted yellow sweet potatoes & onion with a yogurt peanut sauce. He said it was the best lamb he's ever tasted.
