- Born Free... A bunch of critters wander around in peace on a big plain that the lodge uses as its airstrip

- Elephant cruises by, hardly noticing us

-That trunk is working hard!

- We caught this male lion snoozing in a shady grove. His relaxed state allowed us to get VERY close to him in the truck

- GRAPHIC!  Vegetarians beware: here are 3 lions taking turns on their breakfast. In this case, a wildebeest with its eyes still open

- When the sun set, we looked for game spotting this way.  It was difficult to photograph anything we saw, but I took video so you could see what it was like from our perspective.

This is not for those with fear of heights.  It takes visitors to the upper cable station in on the westernmost end of the Table Mountain plateau, at an altitude of 1067m.
