Guestbook
With the hope for friendly correspondence between our family and friends, we've included a Guestbook to our site. We look forward to reading your thoughts, recommendations and ideas, and we'll be getting back to you soon! (You must enter an email address to comment, so we'll be able to get back to you that way.)
We offer this Guestbook with some reservations... Please keep in mind that many of those reading this site are family members, including children under the age of 10. The expectation is that all posts are G-rated, respectful and, above all, nice. Thanks! - John and Whit

I knew this would be an adventure for ANY couple, but for you two -- wow!
Of course John would make sure that you two got the attention you both deserve in business class! But, of course, maybe he got the idea from Cameron when he was with 'her people' in the First Class section of the Admiral's Club! It's all about 'who you know' and then later, 'how you say it'...
Thanks for all the updates -- and as I've said to you since your first "Creative Writing" A+ at Presentation High School.....you really should be a writer!
Love to you both....continue the fun times. Hi to Queen Liz and her entire family (I know that is a little 'familiar', but we are related through your Shane).
xoxo, Mom

Hope the trip has started well. You have left NYC gray and rainy for the rest of us. How was business class - all that you had hoped? Are there pictures of you being served like royalty. Go visit the War Rooms in London - super interesting!
Hope you are having fun!
XO and Cheerio,
Heather

Thanks for your quick note from the Admiral's Club at JFK -- guess your new laptop is working great. Can't wait for you to hook up the webcam so Dad and I can actually see your beautiful faces.
John, you said"...Whitney, come travel the world with me..." Well, we're so happy you're giving each other this tremendous opportunity.
We love you both immensely and wish you laughter, adventures, and good eating along the way.
xoxo

Got your note. I'm glad you enjoyed the year as much as I enjoyed having you here. And thanks for the enclosure. Very, very nice.
I hope you both have a wonderful time on your trip. I look forward to hearing about it on your return.
Rob

Wishing you a fun and safe trip!! We're excited for you and love the site. Can't wait to keep up with your adventures. Michael LOVES those shants and has a few pairs so you will be in good company. BON VOYAGE!!!

We just returnd from our trip to London & Paris and are overwhelmed by your plans. The time to travel is when you are young.
We stayed in London 1 night in a 3 star hotel in Kensington. It was fine, clean and quiet. We took the chunnel to Paris the next day and had a tour in France (The Normandy Coast, around the Loire Valley and back to Paris). We stayed in 5 star and 3 star hotels. They were all comfortable, clean and served us well. We travled the Metro and the underground and everything was marked out well. The people in both countries were helpful and very nice. We met other travelers on our trip who were away from home (New Zealand & Australians) for a long stretch of time, doing what you are doing and we watched how they got on. For a meal, they would buy groceries in a supermarket (prepared salads - sandwiches) when they were not on a tour. In between bouts of staying on their own, they would take a tour. This way, they would have a understanding of what they were seeing and a brief period of not being concerned where they would sleep that night.
They always seemed to be in good spirits, rested and very social. I'm sure you will enjoy your adventure and have a lifetime to relive it. Take plenty of photos to enjoy it over and over again. God Bless.
